Apart from alleviating tiredness and fatigue, sleep is one of the most healing activities for the human body – as well as the mind! Sleep brings us into deeper states of consciousness and allows us to connect with and clear out subconscious debris. We have all heard the saying, “sleep on it” when it comes to making good decisions. This is because our subconscious minds are working hard while we sleep to bring about more mental clarity.
Being overly busy and stressed out has almost become a status symbol in today’s modern world. This has caused many people a great deal of suffering as stress is the number one cause of adrenal fatigue and it is one of the leading contributors to insomnia.
When we struggle to sleep well we experience restlessness and we become disconnected from our bodies. We have a hard time focusing the mind and it becomes increasingly challenging to complete mundane tasks. Over time this affects our moods, our health and our daily relationships – at work and at home. It is a vicious cycle because when we are experiencing such turmoil it also becomes increasingly difficult to sleep well!
If you find that you are struggling to sleep well I invite you to look at and use two of my guided meditations (links at the end of this article). These meditations have been specifically designed to assist you in reaching deep and restful states of sleep so that you can wake up feeling rejuvenated and refreshed. Once you are able to sleep better, you will find yourself feeling clearer, more energized and more motivated.
These meditations will also assist you in gaining more mental clarity which will greatly assist you in accessing deeper states of intuition. Over time it will improve your psychic abilities and of course, offer you greater physical well-being.
