How can you be happy in a time like this? [article]

Some people have asked me, “how can you be so happy in a time like this?” and all I can say is, “How can you not?”

There is no reason to respond to chaos with more chaos. There is no benefit to believing that what we see “out there” is immutable, unchangeable and all there is.

One of the biggest mistakes we make is believing the things we have come to believe without questioning them. We don’t even think about questioning them. We have forgotten to say “what if?” or “why not?” and instead we settle (often uncomfortably) within the limiting constraints that our beliefs hold us in: mostly because we see almost everyone else around us doing the same. This is called consensus reality. It is a reality you have bought into, believed it must be true, because everyone else does.

For those who are familiar with the work I do, you will know that it is possible to change the world you live in by clearing the negative charges around the subconscious and sometimes even conscious limiting beliefs you hold deeply buried. And we all know that when we change the way we think and feel, we will see the world differently and our world changes. Quite literally, we allow ourselves to enter a new reality. As many of you have heard me say, “ Nothing changes, but everything changes.”

For those who are new to my work, and even for returning students, I encourage you to seek out opportunities to question the status quo of your innermost beliefs. Be bold, be brave and do the work: meditate, ground yourself, work with your energy field and your chakras, practice self-forgiveness, fill yourself up with appreciation, be kind, live in the present moment and most importantly, give yourself permission to have fun! Laughter really is the best medicine.
